SWODXA sponsors the annual DX Dinner held on the Friday evening of Hamvention weekend in Dayton, Ohio. In addition, SWODXA members moderate the Hamvention DX Forum. Clipperton Island is a small piece of French land in the Pacific ocean, isolated 1500 km off the coast of Mexico. In 1978, a Franco-Swiss expedition to Clipperton Island made over 29,000 contacts. This large success lead to the creation of the CLIPPERTON DX CLUB with the goal of helping to organize radio-amateur expeditions. Since then, many expeditions have received support from the C.DX.C., including 3Y1, 5R, 5V, D6, 7O, A5, CEØ, FH, FO, FOØ, FP, FR/E, FS/FJ, FT, J2, J7, J8, KH1, KH5, KH5K, PJ, SØ, ST2, T32, T33, TT8, TY, VK9, VKØ, VP8, V2, ZK1. |

The Arkansas DX Association was formally organized in 1973 to promote members in the pursuit and enjoyment of DX, promote good fellowship, and to encourage other amateurs in DX activities. The Southeastern DX Club (SEDXC) was formed in 1958 by a group of hams in the Atlanta, Georgia area, recognizing a growing need to supplement regular radio clubs with a specialized club for DXers. Several SEDXC members were part of the highly successful K5D Desecheo 2009 DXpedition. Since 1958, SEDXC members have put 136 DXCC entities on the air. | ||

Mississippi's Premiere DX Organization Floyd Gerald, N5FG and Lee Turner, WA5EZQ formed the Magnolia DX Association (MDXA) in 1976. Their only motivation at the time was to help each other achieve DXCC. The MDXA is the largest DX club in the state of Mississippi and has grown to over 80 members since the beginning. |
